Investigations of Christopher Hector on the Anglo-Arab breed in South-West France

The Australian journalist Christopher Hector had a big tour in France during October/December 2016 and did detailed investigations about the French eventing scene after the immense success of the French eventing team at the Olympics in Rio.

Australian visit in Pau for our eventing in October!

Christopher Hector and Roz, journalist of  the australian leading equestrian magazin  The Horse Magazine, discovred Pau for the first time and were enchanted by this charming location.

Thanks to a link by UNIC, they came to Pau for the 4Stars of Pau and covered the only CCI**** of France.  Babette Schily, advisor at the Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Pau and coordinator of the regional horse-cluster SO-Horse-Alliances assisted them .

Best European horse Almanzor is trained in PAU, South-West of France by JC Rouget!


Impressif Victory of the 3y old ALMANZOR (Wootton Basset) at Ascot in the British QIPCO Champion’s Stake (Gr1) over 2000m.

He dominated FOUND ( Galileo) and is now considered as the best 3 years-old in Europe!

Congratulations to Christophe Soumillon and  Rouget’s racing stable on the Domaine de Sers in Pau, where he trains over 200 horses in best conditions.
